First lecture of Sem 2. Time to focus!

Feeling a little homesick last night and keep looking forward to thurs (my lessons end at thurs, 2pm :D ). The result of staying at home for the whole of one month holidays.

On my way on the train to meet the girls and Ms Leong for dinner, had sudden small sneezes that interrupted my music.

Suddenly, the guy sitting beside me was frantically digging for something out from his bag. I took a small peek at his actions.

Then, he passed me a piece of tissue paper.

In Singapore, this is rare.

Met up with the girls later, sat at Mac and talked about many issues happening now.

There are really some things that can hold a girl to a guy, despite the uncountable wrongdoings that he had done, or even those that are really unbelievable and yet, the girl can tolerate him.

First time I am speechless, and when I am speechless, it's really serious.

Later, Ms Leong finally came and joined us after not meeting up for whole 2 years!

Did some catch-up and also mentioned about what happened.

One sentence that Ms Leong said and I think it's really true.

"When even your girlfriends tell you that he's not good, he's really not worth your time."

Got it??

Yeah, meaningful 4hours spent with the girls.

I can feel that my period is coming, which means pain and cramps will tag along as well.

Oh man, the feeling of anticipating something not good is horrible. You wont know how badly it's gonna hit you or how nice it will give you.

Ahhh pre-pms syndrome now?

Please, dont be like last month cause i practically just lied down and curled up on my bed for the whole afternoon, pressing hard on my womb, or whatever you call that.

Days since the start of holiday - awesome.

Have been sleeping whatever time I want and waking up naturally. Going out to places that I have never been before and the experience was good. Meeting up with friends that I havent met for a long time was nostalgic, seeing how things have changed over the years.

Exams over! (a few days ago) and I am still as lazy to blog.

Hongye came over yesterday and we started to do crazy stuff again. Miss her alot!

And also the other 2 who are still busy with their school work. Soon soon, next year May/June! Bangkok is waiting for us k ;)

A month worth of holiday, trying to find something meaningful to do. But I got this feeling I will just lie on my bed and slack a substantial amount of time off.

I guessed this holiday I will be stuck in Singapore since there is no signs of news from my parents that we're going overseas.

Sigh, bus fare increase, cab fare increase, food prices increase. The government is forcing us to stay at home.

K I being a typical Singaporean now.

Watched You're the Apple of my Eye yesterday.

A long time since the last movie I watched, and the first time a movie has left a deep impression in me.

Everyone, you should go watch. Even though it's chinese, you should, still, watch it. It will bring out the cheena side of yours. ;)

Watching it brought back lots of memories of the mundane schooling days, especially the JC days. The little things captured in the movie can just bring back tons of memories. Well thats true for the girls POV cause I don't think, and choose to remain thinking that, our guy friends dont do the things they do in school lol.

Having a crush on each other - it's just so sweet.

Exams coming up and busy with projects & presentations all day long.

I guessed that's what uni is about - less academic time but more time spent on preparation and work.

I cant wait for days like this to be over.

Holidays here are really a well-earned break you can get after 3months of studying and rushing projects.

I need a short getaway, off from this stressful environment. But I dont think I am brave enough to travel alone.

Bumped onto Peiqi a few days ago and she asked "Why is your blog so dead?"

I told her that I am gonna close it or ignore this space here cause I really dont have the time to manage it.

Actually, blog isnt a chore that you have to update frequently. It's a space where you can put all your real thoughts in, and you might feel better after that.

And that's what I have felt today.

Came back hall on Sunday night instead of the Monday cause I really have lots of work to do.

This is probably my first week that I stayed throughout the whole week in hall ever since FOC ended.

Ran on Sunday night with Richard and Fiona. Feeling great after eating so much sinful food over the weekend. Chilled at amphi in the night really allow me to relax after a day of hardwork (well, rushing my work again).

Since i dont have lessons on Mon and Wed, my whole day will be spent in hall doing work.

Time seems to pass quite quickly here.

And the time here gets exciting and more fun when it's at night. Have been watching rally for the past 2 nights. Dinner later and more chilling session with hallmates.

How awesome is it.

I am loving hall life now.

Finally two weeks of intensive practice for pageant is over! And our hardwork did paid off :D

Throughout the whole thing, I think i enjoyed myself more when I was backstage than on stage.

Week 2

Week 2. Still a blur freshie.

Still having problem in finding my classes, the layout of NBS is just too weird.

Still trying to find out what's happening in school, got spammed with lots of emails which i dont check it everyday. Though i think i am supposed to do check it daily lol.

Still sourcing for nice food around hall. Kinda sick of hall canteen's food.

Takes time takes time.

And i have training everyday from 7.30pm-12midnight!!

Walked and danced around in heels, never can I imagine myself doing that!

Damn tiring but no pains, no gains right! I had fun also, thanks to the awesome group of hunks&babes ;)

We trained together, aim to lose weight together, but everytime after training, we'll all be like craving for supper. How irony!

And we just had supper last night again, who cares right (Y)

One more week! I hope i have enough energy to pull through!

OH and guess what cca i joined!

It's called the FOOD CLUB.

Cool right! Basically we just go around eating all the awesome, exotic and nice food at discounted price! Can't wait for the first outing/meeting or whatever they call that.

Dear is in hongkong now. Terrible, this blur boy didnt activate his phone roaming. Totally cut off his connection from the world luh. Sigh miss you miss you miss you badly!

It has been days since I clicked on the blogger website.

Attended hall 13 6 days FOC and it was awesome.

Coming back hall really gives me that homely feeling, with familiar faces that I see when I walked around in hall. The place where I can dress in tshirt, fbt and slippers and walk around without attracting any weird stares (you cant do that in NBS haha).

And there will be friends accompanying you when you're bored at night, with just a text "I am so bored in hall! Meet downstairs?" and the night will not be mundane anymore.

Probably cause I only attended hall foc, and not NBS foc. So I felt more comfortable with my hallmates.

Yes, below are the awesome people i met during foc.

Anyway, during foc's amazing. I walked a total distance of 21km overnight!

I have to praise myself for that. For a so not sporty and dont exercise person like me, big accomplishment know! Hehe

So now, I am like slacking in my own room enjoying the aircon, for the first time after almost 2 weeks! Cama dinner later yay :)

Whenever I encounter any setbacks, I will just break into tears. And the amount of tears that flowed out determine how deep it has hurt me.

I know there's always ups and downs in life. It's never perfect. There is always a second chance.

Well it's easy to say.
I need alot of time to recover from it. Like really alot.

Whenever I am alone I will start thinking of it and all the negative thoughts will just come. And it will somehow link to other stuffs and the situtation will just get worse, inside my mind.

This is damn unhealthy. But what to do, I just cant let it go so easily.

I am a good-close-to-perfect example of a worrywart I guess.

And probably a good stress-induced machine.

Sometimes I wonder if I am I taking things to seriously.

I really want to understand myself better. I think I still dont.

-- I think I get affected easily by how people will comment on me, be it good or bad, or just a passing comment. Why care right?? Maybe I am not brave enough to face it. Or I have been avoiding it and remained ignorant for the past few years. As I always believe, ignorance is bliss.

On a side note, cause of all the stress and worries, I lost 2kg within a week. How powerful is that.

But I rather not lose that 2kg. Things would be different. I will be happier. Oh wells.

Every meet-up, there will sure be food involved.

And I'll be eating and eating.

Then, gaining more weight. Sigh

Last friday, jinwei's strong craving for steamboat brought us to some steamboat buffet at bugis.

Forgot the name, but the food there have limited variety huh. The fish is nice though.

Went to illuma after that, chilled at coffee bean all the way till 11pm plus.

The guys just couldnt stop talking about their NS life. But kinda interesting to hear them share the experiences in Tekong.

And that's how I learn all the army terms.

Next day, Meng Seng and I decided to check out Henderson Waves.

Using only ipod touch to browse google map, we somehow made our way there from Vivo.

For the benefit of those who want to go there but couldnt find the place, here's the guide!

First take 145 from Vivo's bus stop. Alight at the 5th stop.

When we alighted, I was still lost, and thought that maybe we have to walk a distance before we can see it.

Suddenly, Meng Seng shouted, "eh look up!"

That's the henderson bridge!

Then, you have to cross the road and climbed up this LONG flight of stairs.

Almost died after climbing up these stairs. Too long never exercise already. But all these are worth it cause the view up there is awesome :)

Went to checkup early morning 9am at national heart centre for my heart murmur thingy. Yes that far and i have difficulty pulling myself out of bed!

And thanks dear for accompanying me there too <3

Did the scan and doctor said nothing serious, still can jump around like some crazy girl haha.

Met 4/1 for dinner at Astons :)

2 years plus ago, they were all posted to MJC and I am the only one in TPJC.

Now, they are all going to NUS and i am the only NTU there. Got so coincidental not!

Had dinner there and the two NS guys forever talking about their NS stuff, and they seems to have endless new topics to talk about.

And the girls just enjoy our food first hehe.

After dinner, went to viewing mall to do lots of crazy stuff huh.

And actually, darwin came back from London also!

Completed first year now moving on to 2nd year of uni after his holiday break know.

While we've yet to start our first year!

Nvm, the guys still have 2 more years to go hahaha.

Have been dwelling over the fact that I have to give up NBS camp for my driving test that clashes with the camp.

I have always wanted to go for a camp so badly. The last one was like JC1 orientation camp? Or maybe CO camp but i was the camp chief so not counted.

Oh well.

Driving test coming real sooooon. Damn scary.

Everytime when I sit along the benches in CDC waiting for my lesson, there will be a group of people waiting to take their TP.

Then one by one they walked out with the invigilator, who will be holding a laptop.

Scaryyy, I feel nervous for them.

Finally some programmes planned for the weekend, something to spice my mundane week up.

Monday
Spent almost 4 hours shopping for papers and craft materials with Desiree at prologue and paper market! I really don't how did we managed to do it, but we really just walked around and deciding what papers are worth to buy. Felt so shiok after getting all the necessary materials case that means I can make a really nice card! :)
Yeah it's like a sense of satisfaction you'll get huh.

Tuesday
Went town shopping with sis from 1pm plus all the way till 9pm at night can!
Finally got a maxi dress for only $19 from F21!
And just because of a pair of shoes, my sis made me run up and down 3 times with her at far east, just to get the correct size and kind she wants -.-

Wednesday
Accompanied Gina to nus for her interview. Nus looks damn quiet huh as compared to ntu. Yeah it was my first time there in nus.
After that went to do nails at this nail salon in katong shopping centre. I got conned by them huh! Paid like $12 extra just for one small bottle of anti-fungal solution. never gonna go there again.
But I like the colour of my toenails though haha.

Thursday
Driving lesson as usual and finally some time to catch up with all my drama mama shows haha.

Friday
Driving lesson in the morning and then met Hongye for swimming! I think I have not swam for close to a year huh!
We swam like 20laps (1 lap is actually 50m only, even though I still think is 100m haha) and now my legs and arms are aching. But the feeling after that was damn shiok!
Astons at night with dear, their food still taste as nice as ever.
Oh and great night spent with him too, after so many days not meeting.

Saturday
Met mengseng again early morning for yakun breakfast. Woke up at 10am and left house at 11am, with a sleepy face still. Haha but the weather was damn nice. Morning stroll to the bus stop was cooling and awesome. If only we have such nice weather everyday.
Slack for the whole afternoon and went for sherman's 21st. Slightly better than we expect. Nice catching up with the starhubbers too :)

Sunday - 050611

Wanted to watch the band performance at Esplanade with dearies. But the response was so overwhelming that half an hour before the commence of the perf, all seats in the concert hall are filled! So saddening, went all the way to Esplanade and yet not able to watch it. And Eehui is performing in the band huh!

Then went over to Paper Market to shop for crafts materials. I think we spent like 1hour plus inside there choosing papers and materials.

I wanna learn scarpbooking. Dont know how the people there can make until so nice.

I really like making cards. The sense of satisfaction after making it can totally cheer me up. It's really worth it to invest time in making them, especially now when I have TOO much time haha.

But I am lacking of materials. Some of them are just too expensive.

Soooo, after saturday, learnt my lesson.

I feel like I have wasted a day at home. Never ever gonna stay at home for the whole afternoon again.

There are no more shows that I can watch, well those that I am interested in of course.
Already browsed through all the tumblr pages and blogs that I always go.

All within 3 hours of the day.

And now, I totally have nothing to do at all.

Everyone seems to be busy with their own things, except me.
This isn't getting any better. Being alone just make me think and worry about stuffs unnecessary.
I think I am used to the busy life. I don't mind getting tired. At least my time is well spent, unlike now.

I always tell my friends that I enjoyed my days in JC.
Though it's tiring and stressful, but with my friends going through this tough journey together, it made it much more endurable and fun.
Really miss those days together with them in school. And I'm glad that we still meet up and keep in touch with one another. These are things that you just couldnt let them go easily.

09S19!

Close to one year ago, we were still mugging our lives off for Alevels. Everyday, struggling with the amount of work we have to revise and study. But we never forget to give ourselves a break by entertaining each other with our retardness and nonsense.
(Gosh, i really miss those days now while typing this. Memories just keep flowing in... reminiscing again)

And now, one year later, all of us are going into Uni soon! Great to see all of them are doing good now.

Went back for college day on Sat and there, I saw many familiar faces. And I saw ma'am also, still as cheeky as ever haha.
The school didnt change at all, perhaps some of the wallpapers and the vision (LOL) did.

Changed out and headed for CO BBQ in MP's car again haha.

09 EXCO is also another group of people that went through the hard times in JC with me, especially during the plannings and running of TPJCO.

Even though it's just a CCA, but it is this CCA that brought a group of people with the same interest together. I don't meet them as often as I met with S19 girls. Probably only twice a week, or more when there's any activities or events. But still we're able to stay close together.

I miss the meetings we had together (rmb the one at Shenyee's house till 10pm?? haha). Back then, the guys still have hair know. Now botak! haha see it below :D

Busy week

Blogging from work again.
Really have nothing to do since graduation is already over and today is my 2nd last day at work.

The whole of last week was helping out with the registration at tp's graduation.
Felt really tired each day when the sessions of the day ended. It feels exactly the same when school just ended and I have CO after that. Tired and.. tired.
Actually calculated with Pearlie, within 5 days i walked a distance of 10km? Around there.
But sometimes for their buffet, it's kinda worth it.

The week ended with a dinner with S19 girls.
Saturday - went for College Day and CO bbq at night.
Gonna blogged about it at home since all the photos are in my com.

Went to Orange Lobster for lunch with dear and we only spent $0.55 (we ordered lobster porridge for 2pax) cause of the Groupon. Anyone beat that record? haha
Watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3D. Nice movie!
I am one who dont really like to watch movie that are not realistic, so I dont watch alot of blockbuster movies like Avatar, Iron Man, Transformer, Harry Porter,etc. But Pirates changed my perception of these "unreal" movies. Maybe I should watched Avatar soon huh.

Eventful week, I like :)
I like the feeling of being busy almost the whole day, feeling kinda tired after the day. Cause that's when you know you have done something, even though it might be something simple. That beats doing nothing right?

That's why, I cant wait for uni to start.
Meet new friends, new environment, new life - i wonder how will it be like.

Walk & Walk

Woke up at 6.30am for the 2nd consecutive day. Squeeze up bus 27.
Walked a distance of 350m for 6 times.
Up and down the 50 degree slope for 6 times.
I havent walked so much ever since I started work.
Damn tired now.
I even have to walk to buy dinner at Rivervale mall cause my sis ate my dinner share -.-

But TP's graduation is kinda cool. They get to wear the graduation attire and one by one up the stage to receive their cert. Why dont we have such grad also??

Cant wait for work to end! 7 more days!!

And after that, I can
1) wake up at anytime i want.
2) do things OTOT (own time own target)
3) chiong driving and get my driving license asap! Till now, my 9th lesson already still have no confidence in myself. How&why like that?? Shall push the blame to the clutch.

NUS Business School just sent me an invitation to their tea session when I didnt even go for their interview. Weird, but does that means I am accepted by them?

A few more days and my contract will be ending soon.
Work's getting busier each day, with the grad ceremony that will take place next week.
But one good thing about work - undone work you dont have to do as homework. So when you're home, you're really relaxing.

Some days ago, I was bored and decided to read my archives. And i saw the list of things I wanted/planned to do after Alevels.

1. Go for a decent shopping trip (for my Japan trip and prom)
Done - I think I am doing too much shopping. Besides getting addicted to online shopping, I just went shopping with Gina on Sunday, in which we bought earrings, 2 tops each and painted our nails. Overspent already.. but which girl can resist the temptation to shop?? ;)

2. Decorate my room. Give it a massive makeover.
Havent really do it. Either I am busy at work or I am too lazy to think of ideas on how to decorate it. Haha shall save these ideas to decorate my hostel room.

3. Print lots of photos and paste it all around on my wall
Yes so proud of myself after doing it. Though not alot, but at least i bother to print and paste it. Haha ok I must admit i am really a lazy person.

Miss all of them though! We're all like busy with our own stuff/work now.

Erm not really, taking into account the amount of weight that i have GAINED.
Yes, kept eating and not exercising. I am now damn heavy. Everytime I stepped on the weighing machine I am so afraid that I will get a shock know.
But I just ran today. Miss that feeling. I miss PE.

6. Change my blogskin
Never did haha.

7. Get my driving license
Yes yes! Hopefully by July!
Cant wait to drive out on my own. Really want to drive badly, especially during the times when I have to squeeze with the people on the bus.
Right now learning how to park the car. So far so good. But still, I hate the clutch. Who is the one who invented manual car??

8. Get a job as tuition teacher
Yes i did relief at a tuition centre for a month. One of the kids really make me think twice of teaching tuition to young children.
And I actually worked at the service sector, as an admistrator and tuition teacher. .
Not bad, fulfilling long break before uni.

9. Go for Malaysia road trips
If Genting with Gina, Chuinchi, Eehui and Yindilynn is counted, yes!
But i want to go on our own by car, travelling to places like Malacca and KL. That will be awesome.

Woah I think I did most of the things I planned to do before Alevels ended.
But why do I still have this feeling that I forget to do something??

Wanted to blog yesterday since I was stuck at home the whole day (apart from hogging up by the polyclinic for 2hours), but Blogger chose to do some maintainence to their website.

Had a really high fever on thurs night, went all the way up to 39degree. Was trembling under my thick blanket with my thickest sweater on but still feeling cold. And I practically slept for the whole of yesterday. Fever gone now but headache still there, like really terrible one.
Hope it doesnt affect my driving later.

And I just realised everytime when there's a friday 13th, I will have high fever. Two times in a row already, same for last yr. Coincidence or what.

At 10.15am, woke up by the streaks of warm morning sunlight. At that moment, I will receive a morning text from dear and then I will wake up to have my breakfast. After breakfast, I will return to my room, switch on my com, letting my itunes play on shuffle and start surfing the net aimlessly, reading blogs and updates.
Wah love such stress-free life can.

In 3 months time, I will be lying on my hostel's bed instead of my own bed at home. Next to me will be my roommate and life will be different by then. I need to be independent, doing my own house chores, including washing my own clothes, cleaning up my own room and settle my own meals.
What if my roommate is not in room one day? I will be all alone in the room. Will it be scary? I hate being alone. I can't even eat alone outside. IF i really have to eat alone, i will just skip that meal if i can. That's how much i hate being alone.
Am i able to adapt this uni life?

And i think boy is looking out for his airtime huh. But cant think of anything to blog about it now another time k! haha. And he gave me a really nice present. Love it :D

Impromptu meet-up with the dearies, except for hongye as usual (sigh).
Supposedly, we are only meeting for lunch and talked about impt stuff. But later, due to some "plans" we decided to go for dinner together as well.

Seriously, i look like a giant beside both of them. I need hongye to be in the photo to balance out huh.

Went to udders to eat icecream after that and headed home in 136.
We should have such meetup more often! Talk and chat and everything, niceeee.

Talked on the phone till 2.30am last night and woke up at 9am today dont know for what reason, just couldnt get back to sleep.

It has been a long time since I blogged!
Hmmm since my last post, 17April shall recalled what happened bit by bit since I have the time now :D

OH FIRST THING FIRST.
I was at my desk and suddenly Pearlie ran over and screamed "you know if you check online for your uni application it will be faster than receiving the letter?!?" I was totally stunned and looked at her "ARE YOU SERIOUS??" And then when she went into ntu website in to check for me, I was trembling throughout. I cant even type my NRIC properly!
When I saw NTU BUSINESS reflected on the screen, i literally screamed for joy and grabbed Pearlie's hand. That's like my dream school/uni/course that I wanted to go so badly! I was so happy and eager that I feel like accepting their offer immediately.
But I was afraid that the system might not be accurate or sth, and just when i got home, NTU'S LETTER WAS THERE ON MY TABLE :D

YAY, first thing when i get into NBS - buy their shirt! It's really nice.
Can't wait for uni to start now.

the next day, went to help out for TPJC Guzheng Ensemble (used to be CO). And guess what, they got GOLD WITH HONOURS! So proud of my juniors, they only practised for merely 2months and able to get such great results.

Their purple long dress is damn nice, so much nicer than my year's gold costume. I wanna get a maxi!

The next few days, had alot of BBQ/steamboat and I just kept eating and eating. My weight also just keep increasing everyday.
But I ran yesterday and today k, short distances but at least it does burn calories.

Speaking of steamboat, went to Jinwei's house for mini steamboat. Did alot of catch-up and jw now has an angmoh kind of accent. What happened?? what has army done to you man hahaha.
But it's nice seeing them all again. Took pics but damn lazy to scan it. Another day k hehe

Dear's being so sweet recently.
Pretended that he forgotten our meet-up and suddenly pop up. And today suddenly decided to meet and came within such a short period of time.

It's already mid april! For the past few days, had quite a no. of meet-ups and everytime we meet-up, confirm will eat. Need to go for a run REALLY soon!

First meet-up - with 4e1 people! Darwin is back in Singapore again and as usual we went back to Waraku to have our dinner.

One day last week, Pearlie brought her rainbow cake she made to share with us. Really nice and filling - 6 layers of vanilla cake can last me till lunch time.

And on thurs, we were like gmarketing for the whole day. Keep buying stuff related to my polaroid. Spent about $40 plus on that. AND I did bought a bag for that but it is like taking forever to ship out. Need to control my spending already and what's worse, I just changed my POSB card to a debit card. DIE haha.
But i am still looking for cheap coloured polaroid films. Any recommendations?

Driving lesson later, finally after 2 weeks! I think the car will keep stalling, or I'll probably piss off all the drivers driving behind me. Hate the changing gear and step on clutch thingy. My hands and legs just couldnt coordinate well.

Also, for the past few weeks, there is this special someone who is always there for me 24hours, sharing my joy, anxiety,sadness and everything else. I really love that feeling even though you may be irritating at times (HAHA), but still thank you dear! :)

Ever since I got a polaroid camera, i have been searching for cheap films.

Everytime when i saw the films sold online are cheaper than the retail price i will get very excited and keep buying. Then, i will use it and looking at the pictures make me happy too. Does polaroids really make girls happy?

Have been shopping for stuff related to that. The whole morning me and pearlie are like sourcing for good deals and I think i made pearlie spent alot of money today LOL but all are at great prices k. Now I saw this polaroid casing - TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY. Hmmm

Taught tuition to two pri one kids ytd and was dead beat and hungry after 4hours. The little boy just couldnt sit still and do his work! The little girl was better, quiet and listen to instructions. See, girls behave better than guys, even at such a young age right. :D

Spent my night at home watching shows and felt really moody after that. Decided to go to bed early and fell asleep halfway when texting. Got really angry and suddenly the 3 words changed everything. Rollar coaster ride again tsk. But it was a night to remember :)

I realised i get worried very easily.
Once something is uncertain, i will start to worry, even for the smallest thing.
When it comes to things related to results or studies, i will start to get paranoid and thoughts will start running in my mind.

Like just now,
was reading through our FTT book just now with Pearlie and she suddenly said this person already got called for interview by NBS.
Suddenly, the FTT doesnt seems scary. I am scared and worried about the uni application instead. Why havent i got the reply from them yet?
Ended up both of us started to worry about uni instead of FTT which we will be in taking in another 20mins time? haha

Gonna start work soon again. Less slacking time at home, cant wake up late anymore.
No more a life of a tai tai haha.

1st driving lesson today, damn shiok!
Cant wait to get my license and travelling will be much easier.
And after trying out driving today, I know why people always want to speed on expressway. Everything infront is so clear that you just feel like dashing through.

Was shopping at tm today and bought 2 more tops again.
Have to control my spendings seriously, especially when I am jobless now.

Kinda like days like that.
Going shopping whenever I feel like and sufficient time to do the stuff that I want/plan to do.
Unlike the past 2 months, everyday doing things that I dont really enjoy.

Rest days

CNY this year seems to be normal, less fun than last yr. Or is it because of the after effect of working for 5 days straight? I dont know.

The 3 days break totally not enough for me to enjoy CNY huh. Chu xi after work immediately rushed down to eat reunion dinner.
Then CNY day 1 usual waiting at home for relatives to come.
CNY day 2 and 3 back to malaysia for visiting. But this time, my grandpa's house area flooded due to the heavy rain, so some houses we're supposed to visit cant go :/
But this time we overnight gambling + playing monopoly deal + chatted all the way till 5am. Quite fun though :)

Day 4 (today) - start work at 8.30am.
And early in the morning i think i had food poisoning. Woke up at 6am plus and tortured by terrible stomach ache. Almost wanted to take MC but no choice still have to go work today to change my shift timing.
So now, skipped a dinner at my aunt's house to come home and rest.
Tired and sleepy mind today, pity all my customers to have to keep repeating themselves so that i can get what they want lol.

Why my CNY this year so mundane. Hope next sun will be better! Yes going back malaysia for visiting again, and to win all my money lost back hehe

Like what my colleague, Sherman said, ever since taking up this job, i feel like don't even have time for myself, lest to say my friends and family.

Yesterday was my first day of picking calls. Tiring but fun!
You'll get to serve all kinds of customers and some are quite funny too! And i count myself lucky to not have to serve nasty customers or complaints. Ok maybe a few but not so serious one.
Yeah so overall, this job not that bad after all :)

Off day today. Since it is on a weekday, most of my friends are working. So decided to go back school to get my eagles award and visit CO.

When i stepped into the CO room, everything look damn different. It's not the usual CO room i always see. Everything seems to change. Thats sad, i think.
So yeah played on the guzheng once again. My skills really rusty already cant even play fast now.
Stayed for an hour or so and asked Mr Wong to come in! And he really not a CO teacher ic anymore!
So, TPJCO really changed, and it's really a drastic one! :/

Met up with Gina for dinner. Nice to catch up with things and chatted. Then we got very fascinated to see each other new phone haha. She got a blackberry! And those with Android, go dl the app "retro camera". you can take nice photos with it!

Tmr will the first day i will picking up calls. Damn scary can.
2 weeks of training ended last friday, means honeymoon period over. No more 15mins breaks and the long lunch break with colleagues.
I dont mind undergoing training for the next 6 months you know.

So last 2 days of training, went to dinner with my training class ppl.
Dinner on friday, went to eat popeyes and sat outside Cathay for almost 2 hours telling jokes and all. And that was also when i heard the most no. of jokes, be it dirty or "rainbow", it's damn funny! We had fun chatting also and disturbing one another huh haha.

And i think i should flip through my products book again. I cant rmb half of the content and I think i will just blank out when i pick up my first call huh.

Went Malaysia for my mum's cousin wedding dinner. The whole dinner was nice, shall post some photos when i am not lazy! :D

3rd day at work, more like attending school.
Trainings are dry and can really make you sleep. It's like econs, just that we're learning about Starhub Mobile. And there is a test tmr to prove that we have learnt something, open book test though. Brought back my lecture notes but i dont think i will be reading it haha.

My colleagues are all nice people. Gives me a little feeling of S19.
All 19 of us went for lunch break together, walked to MRT together and go home together. Cool or not. Haha

And that, you know i actually miss school. Weird right i know.

First day at Starhub

Year 2010

Year 2010 was really a fruitful year for me, one of the best year I ever had.
Got to experience many different kind of stuff, meet new people and made new friends, bonds made stronger.

For the first half of the year, I fully experienced the life as the President of CO.
Have to juggle between studies and CO stuff really challenged my time management skills. Plus all the problems faced during plannings and obstacles faced, i felt that i have grown stronger from that.
But because of all the CO activities, like the CO camp and concert, I LOST WEIGHT HAHA. Ok besides that i bonded well with the exco (well, i think i had) and had loads of fun doing all the plannings with them.
09 EXCO are really an awesome bunch of people to work with.
Wei kwang (my 最佳拍档), Jolyn (my guzheng partner!), May Lyn, Charissa, Jieying, Man Pang, Shayne (my guzheng and gossip partner! haha), Shen yee, Hao Shan, Jolynn and Clarence :)

2nd half of the year passed quickly due to the intense preparations for Alevels.
Lectures, tutorials, consultations all lined up one after another.
But studying with S19 really made it better, especially the mugging sessions with Gina, Gen and Shiqi. They never fail to make me laugh huh.
And i know i have made and found a really good and trust-able friend 2 years ago - Gina! :) Who say JC friends are all non-lasting. Ok i found one that i know our friendship wont end right!
Thanks Ginapxy for all your support during the hardest time in my life and going through the torturous Alevels with me! Rmb our dinner date huh! haha i want zi char!

Decemeber 2010 - i must say it was really a blast.

Within one short month, I went to Japan and came back to attend prom and post prom with the sleepover gang (Gina, yuintheng, anna, chuinchi, eehui, yindilynn, felicia and kat) .
Then went for meet-ups with dearies, Wanyi + Peiqi and 4e1. P.S. Wanyi i saw your blog post! thank you for that! We will continue to keep in touch right! :D You and peiqi are also definitely one of the true friends i made in JC.
Went for job hunting and got recruited by Starhub which i somehow regretted applying it (haha). Then christmas exchange with dearies and met their bfs. Went Genting with Gina, Chuinchi, Eehui, Yindilynn! Came back for CO farewell party and waited for the clock to strike 12 the following day.

Fun and fruitful, which is what i really wanted and expected! Not a single day wasted.
Hope this will continue but highly impossible huh since i am starting work TMR.
But please please let me off during CNY!

Happy New Year everyone! K this may come abit late. Well spent my whole new year out.

Woke up EARLY morning to go for the tuition job at Kembangan.
The students there are really cute, reminds me of the kidsread children. Young and bubbly.
So worked for about 3hours and finally my job ended.
Really tiring to handle and teach the kids when I myself already like falling asleep. I need to tune my body clock back to normal timing huh.

At the workplace with Hongye and Desiree.

And the working place confirm much more enjoyable than Starhub's.
Well i heard negative comments about the call centre job which somehow made me regret my choice to sign the contract.
Now I have to work for 3months before I can quit. Ok, endure! (For that $9/hr) haha. Then I will take more lessons at this tuition place! I hope they still have vacancy.

Oh and I am on ADULT FARE already. The cost of travelling is like WOW. Forget to tap out and you'll heartache like crazy.

And from tmr onwards, no more waking up at 11am everyday!
Nooo i dont want to work...
Am gonna enjoy my last day of freedom at home watching all my shows!

Finally a day home to rest. Have been going out ever since prom ended. It's good to go out but damn tiring huh.

So, completed all the cards for farewell today. All 21 of them! Took me almost a week to do all! But now, gifts..

All the farewell gifts, birthday presents (that i still owe them for months haha), christmas present and entertainment + food are draining away my allowance and bank account's money! It's dropping everyday. But one good thing is, I might have already gotten a job! Interview tmr and really hope i can get it! $9 per hour, no kidding eh.

Meeting dearies tmr. Miss them alot! It has been months since we 4 met up together as a whole. Dont worry i will bring my camera and you all can camwhore like crazy :D

Yeah today really a good day. Before the start of my working days, cause all my working friends are like complaining about their job. Is studying really better than working ?

The smoke behind is given out by some sulphur-containing pool or something. Cant really rmb lol. There was also this strong stench of sulphur everywhere huh.

After lunch, we headed to all the outlets that sell branded things. I think only those really rich one can afford the things there lah, cause even it has discounted prices,the things there are still very expensive! Considering how high is Japan's SOL.

Before alighting, we put on our coats and gloves all that cause it's at the middle of a hill, temperature there was quite low. And I saw this!

My cousin's glove! So cute.

This is the place I was taking about, where all the branded outlets are located. It is damn big. So big that they have to link the east side and the west side with a bridge.

And also, the place looks very atas.

Finally towards Mt. Fuji!

Secretly took a shot while my sis was sleeping hehe.

The past 2 days we have been travelling long distances, taking rides that are 2-3 hours long. Like going Malaysia like that.

Then we arrived at our hot spring hotel!

Took a few scenary photos before going in to the hotel. Tours are like that, keep taking pictures non stop ah.

The hotel room is freaking nice. those really traditional kind.

After we checked in, went to hot spring. Damn shiok!

It was so nice that i wanna go there again!

Ok that's all for day3. Short and simple because the pace of life there is much slower than those in Tokyo or Osaka.

Nightmare

I had a nightmare.

Shayne and I were playing guzheng and suddenly she got caught by a giant monster. I wasnt aware of that until it grabbed me from the back and realised that I was in danger as well!

So Shayne and I were caught in some monster's trap. The monster likes to catch every girl it sees and will try to eat them up.

But Shayne escaped, I am still stuck inside. Someone please save me.....

And I woke up. What a nightmare.

Met up with Wanyi and Peiqi today! After so many months.

Window-shopped around Nex with wanyi cause both of us are really really broke already. I had to buy presents for the farewell and all.

Need to get a job real soon! Please please hope i can get that tuition job! I need funds for my entertainment.

Queued for an hour at Astons. But was fun talking to Wanyi and Peiqi, talked about everything and Peiqi keep wanting me to be taitai. Like so easy to be like that haha.

And I am too lazy to blog about the rest of the days of my Japan trip. Uploading photos can already take up one hour! Ok I need to blog about it before I go genting, that will be my aim lol.

Talking about Genting, it will be a week's time and I will be there, enjoying the cold weather! Cant wait! @gina @eehui @chuinchi @yindilynn :D

Steamboat with 6 EXCOs just now (Jie Ying, Wei Kwang, Shen Yee, Man Pang and Jolyn).

Though not full strength but we still had a warm steamboat lunch right? :)

Hope that more EXCOs can come for the next gathering!

After stremboat, mahjong-ed all the way. Wei Kwang and Shen Yee really got that beginner's luck, keep winning for the first few rounds. Man Pang keep saying it's his aura, but I think it's gonna do with the feng shui seat lah haha.

And I realised we never take any photos again, why like that.

Japan Day 2

Shall continue with my Japan trip. Day 2 was travelling around Kyoto, a less urbanised place in Japan.

FYI, all the photos i uploaded for Japan, click on the photos for an enlarged and clearer version. Blogger doesnt allow a bigger size photo to be uploaded and I dont like to use other uploader.

Took bullet train down from Osaka to Kyoto. Nothing much also, just like taking our MRT but a faster speed lol .

The businessmen/women are always clad in black coats/blazer. Basically, their clothes are all black. Can be quite scary when one bunch of them walk towards you eh.

Finally at Kyoto, went up to the highest building in that area, which is only 1o plus storey high.

After that was lunch, and we ate this.

The meat at the side is also mine. And they gave us rice also. The portion was damn big lah.

After that ate their toufu ice cream. It was awesome!

This is also the reason why i gained weight after coming back from Japan -.- The food are healthy but their portions very big!

Then we went to the train station to take a ride to ______. I forgot the name of the place again hehe.

Look at how the station master stood!

He was already standing at the edge of the platform already. Cause of the pathway is very narrow, and when people need to walk across, instead of moving forward to have a safer balance, he moved BACK. So that means he was balancing on the edge of the platform with one leg. Hands down.

After that was shopping along the street up to the temple. They sell loads of green tea stuff there! I think it's the place where they grew the green tea leaves too. Bought loads of green tea snacks back. And of course, bought their matcha ice cream again. Haha

Buffet dinner and backed to hotel room at around 8plus SGT? Yeah I think the Japanese are damn lucky. Their shops closed very early, 8pm SGT. So that means people can go home rest earlier.

Since it's really early for us, Sporean to go to bed, we decided to play cards in the hotel.

P.S. you wont want to watch their tv programmes cause you wont even understand a thing at all. Lol

Love their bathrobe! Is it? Not very sure also haha.

It is alright for an Alevel student not working at this point of time?

Some of my friends already got their jobs and working very hard to earn some pocket money. I am actually feeling kinda guilty for making December a rest month for me. Weird eh?

But I do have a job offer, as tuition teacher but will only get to meet my employer end of the month and not even sure if i can get it.

Cant wait for all the gatherings planned ahead!

If only all my friends are as free as me.

Oh and Gina's moving to Sengkang!! Yay we must dinner more often at compasspoint k!

Japan Day 1

Finally have some time to blog about my Japan trip.

Shall start with Day1 first - I am not so hardworking to post about the whole of 7 Days in a single post. Haha

Took a midnight flight over to Japan and cant even sleep properly on the plane. Only managed to sleep for 1hour plus and woke up with an aching neck, back and hand lol.

Straight after we arrived in Japan, Osaka, the tour starts!

Oh and I went to Japan with my Sis and cousins family. Mum and Dad flew off to Hainan Island on the day of my last Alevel paper.

We went to some tourist attraction which I cant rmb the name. Such places doesnt attract my attention as much as before anymore. Pictures shall do the talking now haha.

Vending machines are practically found almost every corner in Japan, be it along the streets, beside convenience stores, beside the toilet and even in the back alley!

And vending machines selling cigarettes are commonly found also. Wonder if it prevents those under 18 from buying it.

And on Day1 itself, she already eaten more than 10 tako balls, yeah because of the buffet we had at night that serve unlimited supply of that.

After that, we went to one of the busiest shopping districts in Osaka and there are really alot of things to shop! Bought my prom necklace there with a reasonable price. Satisfied much.

And yeah the things in Japan are really very expensive. So we window shopping most of the time. Unless you go to their drug stores which sell all the daily necessities at a really cheap price!

While shopping there, went to eat their ramen. Those typical Japanese style ramen restaurants.

Oh and you can see alot of cute guys and girls there! Hehe. All about our age and they dressed really fashionably, even if they are wearing their school uniform - blazor.

I think once you put on a blazor, you'll look nice already huh. Why Singapore weather so hot?? If not we can have school uniform like theirs.

After that, went back to Universal Studio's hotel. Damn awesome. One of the best hotels i ever stayed in.

They have a big full body length mirror. Something which all girls need :)

We spent most of the time queuing up for the rides. Japanese really have the patience to queue for rides. We queued about 30-40mins just for a 5mins ride. And this is considered short already. It's worst in Disneyland!

Ok, headed back to hotel for the Japanese buffet and really had a good share of it.

Went back to room at about 8pm Singapore time and knocked off immediately after I showered. Guessed I am really lacking of sleep due to the midnight flight.

Ok that's all about Day1. Shall blog on the remaining 6days when I am bored and not lazy hehe.

Another day

After looking at all the photos taken during prom, I realised I have the tendency to bend down when taking photos with people, uhm shorter than me LOL. It's like a natural habit in me to bend down already.

And during last night convo with Peiqi and Wanyi, Peiqi keep commenting about me bending and my dress! Of course, the others are not spared too, like a commentator like that. Me and Wanyi think that she is just being jealous, yeah thats all HAHA.

Dont be depressed Peiqi! You have what to be proud of too! *look at Wanyi and smile slyly.

And ya besides that, ytd night was conferencing with dearies as well and yeah heard about a big news. Cant wait to meet them all and of course, my brother-in-laws on the 22nd/ 23rd? Oh no i forget the date again. Hehe

Today was mini 4E1 gathering and as usual, guitar hero and mahjong plus bbq.

Tomorrow another boring day at home. Supposed to meet up with Wanyi and Peiqi but Wanyi's sick. Get well soon!

Back from Japan and it's really fun!

I miss the temperature there already so cooling and nice. Never perspire at all for 7 days, can wear thick clothings and cuddle onto anything that is soft. I like this feeling.

But I am too tired to do anything now cause I have been awake since 2am just to catch the flight back Spore.

Shall post more about my trip after prom, which is like tomorrow. Not even sure if i am ready for it yet.

In Japan!

Currently at Nikko Hotel in Kyoto now!
And I really made a right choice to bring my lappy over because the TV here are pay-tv. So if you dont want to pay for the extra charges, there will be no entertainment for the night at all.

Moreover, all the shops here closed at 9pm, Singapore time 8pm. So this is why I am here now.

So far the tour is awesome! The hotels and the food, mostly buffet style. Which means FREE FLOW sashimi, sushi and dessert! Damn shiok but worrying also because the next day I come back will be prom. I hope i still can fit into my prom dress!

Oh everywhere here is selling green tea ice cream! I can be eating like green tea ice cream twice a day in such a cold weather.

Gonna leave for Tokyo soon! But till now I dont feel excited yet which I really wonder why.

Went to register for BTT with Gina today. Both of us are like lost children trying to find the way to the driving center and figuring out how the procedure to register. It's like taking Alevels lah, when they asked you to check the particulars on the form, etc. Oh and we met Pearlie there too. So in the end 3 of us will be taking out BTT together somewhere feb next year? Omg I forgot the date already lol.

So now I am stoning at home waiting for time to pass. Hope the trip will be a fun one and please dont rain! The sudden downpour just now was scary.

And when I am back on the 6th, it's time for prom! Ok i seem to be more excited about prom than the Japan trip.

Yayyyy finally!

The day is finally here!

2 years of suffering is now gone. Programmes lined up all the way till end of dec. Ok, I am getting excited now.

MY LIFE IS BACK.

The thought of not having to study and mug every single day from this moment onwards is really difficult to accept. And I just realised today is the last day that I will be wearing that green uniform.

Ok I need to pack for my Japan trip tmr real soon. Havent started packing at all but i am gonna spend my time now watching WGM!

Oh and I am registering for driver test tmr with Gina! Finally I am one step closer to drive a car, ok maybe it's still long before I can drive one. But well, next time you see me, I may probably be travelling to the meet up place by car eh.

Walked the whole of Orchard today but still can't find my prom dress! This is worrying cause that means I only have tomorrow and friday to get everything for prom.

But finally such days are back. We can walk around without worrying about studies and just sit there and slack.

Oh and we saw ma'am there too.

Seeing her makes me think of the days in JC, her stories about her hamster and her funny online msg. Gosh I miss all these.

Though my hand ache badly after 2hrs 15mins of continuous writing, it's all worth it, for the enjoyment I get, we had, after the paper. Chilling out and eating dinner together at yoshi, shopping around and looking for prom dresses - that's what life it's all about :)

And the fun shall continue tmr!

And suddenly I dont have to mug like crazy now, there are too many things I want to do but it seems to be in a mess. No idea to start from where.

Yesterday was only the end of 2nd week of Alevels and I am getting way too excited.

Together with Gina, CC and Eehui, we were like screaming on msn throughout. 2 more papers to go and it's time for a decent shopping trip for prom and my japan trip!

IT'S JUST 3 MORE DAYS AND THIS LONG TIRING JOURNEY GONNA END (unofficially).

My mum was asking me yesterday about the end of Alevels and I am actually grinning to myself when I told her that Alevels is ending real soon. Ok i think i am going mad over this.

And gosh, I think i am addicted into horror. See how S19 has changed me, ever since I went to watch that supposed-to-be horror movie and I got addicted. And yes, I am now one of those who will keep pestering people to watch horror movie.

YES FINALLY I am halfway through Alevels.

Counting down 7 more days (ignore physics lah huh haha), and I can lead a more decent life!

Where all the fun will start, all the joy will come and when the 29th come, it will be havoc.

Just got the confirmation letter for my flight and it will be on 1st Dec early morning flight and it's at T3! K i never been into T3 departure hall before so that's making me excited. Oh and i am gonna bring my laptop over and hope wifi's available in Japan's hotels.

And I want to go genting so badly. Why cant my parents just let me go?? I need reasons to convince them to nod their heads. Suggestions please? Gonna try asking them tonight again.

Adding on to my list of things to do after alevels:

1. Go for a decent shopping trip (for my Japan trip and prom)

2. Decorate my room. Give it a massive makeover.

3. Print lots of photos and paste it all around on my wall

4. Meet up will all my friends

5. Exercise till I get that 'shiok' feeling

6. Change my blogskin - still not very satisfied with my current one

7. Get my driving license

8. Get a job as tuition teacher

9. Go for Malaysia road trips

10. Learn to cook/bake from mum. Especially Hainanese Chicken rice! If not no one gonna pass down the authentic recipe from my grandma.

Suppose to have more but can't recall all now. Shall add on when i rmb. And yes, this is what i always plan and think before I go to bed everyday. See how eager i am to wait for the arrival of 29th Nov.

Ok I shall treasure the spare time I have now to watch abit of my shows before I start on phy - another terrible one

Oh and recently, i kept having unusual dreams.

First i dreamt that Gina got a bf but cant see his face clearly.

P.S. Gina dont worry i try to dream about it again and see if i could recognise him haha. :P

And we're in some NS camp when i realised Gina got a bf and i met alot of my primary school friends there.

It's the 2nd time i had dreamt about them, is this a sign for a 6A2'04 gathering? Lol

Tomorrow marks the first day of our official study break.

Got to make full use of it and endure till 29th Nov!

Oh and on friday, I went to watch 'Bestsellers' (under peer pressure) with Gina, Anna, Chuinchi, Jinwei and Eehui, who is equally scared as me cause they said Bestsellers is a horror movie.

I said peer pressure cause i cant take horror and they kept asking me to watch so in the end i gave in to them as they sponsored half my ticket price.

But the movie turned out to be more of a thriller instead of horror lah. There was some parts which were quite boring. And i managed to watch the whole of the 'horror' movie without missing any parts. So is this counted as 'I survived a horror movie?' Hehe

But after that day, the process of watching a horror movie can be quite a thrill. And so much so, let's watch such movie again? Eehui you must come with me if not I will be the only one who is scared. Haha

When I first stepped into this college last year, life was filled with uncertainties and a tinge of fear until I met this awesome bunch of people.

We work together, play together and go crazy together even though we only know each other for a few months.

As the days go on, our friendship has definitely strengthened as we started to know each other better. We took like tons of pictures but I like the ones taken during sports day most, the day when we really supported each other and clinched a 3rd place of 12x100! I am so proud of S19.

And this was what we always do when Ma'am is on MC/ away.

Remember the 'Every morning' post i posted some time ago? This place has become our territory for morning meet-ups haha.

Though it may be the last day we're together in TPJC, attending lectures and tutorials in our green uniform, the craziness still remains in us.

So this is 09S19

Thank you S19 for being such a wonderful class. The memories and love you have gave me throughout my 2 years in JC will be everlasting. Do remember the 09S19 day that we have set and keep our pinky promise made. I will miss you all!

Breaking the rules

Today only 10 of us came but it wasnt that bad after all.

2nd last day of school and everyone didnt care about all the rules already. We wore pe shirts for assembly and didnt even bother to bring our uni.

Escaped YOG video-watching and ordered Mac breakfast delivery.

Then we had for chem all the way from 10am till 1pm.

It was as if we can plan our own timetable for school days.

I think like that's better. We didnt waste time in school haha. And also abit of bonding time with the class :)

After that went shiqi's house to study, and virtual studying with gen.

Productive and fun!

Today only 9 people turned up and it's became damn obvious when we lined up during assembly. Should not have went to school today. But then, the class will only left with 4/5 people?

One round table in canteen was enough to fit everyone in lah.

So tutorials today are more like consultation time with Ma'am. As usual, we gossiped and discussed essay qns during GP.

I hope more will turn up tmr, it's already the last week we're going to attend lectures/lessons as a class!

Anyway, it's the end of the week already. Means one more week to grad day! (although most of the jc had theirs today, so good lah)

I really wonder what would happen on grad day. Last time seeing all of my friends around wearing the green uni hanging around in tpjc. I was reading my archives just now and I had so much fun in school for the first half of the year! Not like now, everyday eat and study only. I have put on weight, for sure.

I really hope that the organiser for this year's grad day (SC?) will make it a damn good one. Same for CO's farewell party, which i think will be during the same week as our prom.

I was playing with blogger and i just realised that we can design our own template (yeah i know i am slow lol). So i was playing with it and then when i was about to save back my old template, they say got error. So now all my links and tagboard are gone!

For now, i guess the one to replace my tagboard will be the 'comment' link at the bottom of each post. I myself also dont really know how to use it but no choice, I can't afford to spent another hour figuring out how to insert a tagboard :/
